Patricia Randall

Patricia Carpenter Randall, of Forest City, age 68, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2006, following a brief illness. Patricia was born April 18, 1938 in Henrietta, North Carolina to the late Paul Carpenter and Dora Hames Carpenter. She was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County. She married Bobby Randall on November 23, 1961 in Gaffney, SC. She had worked for Burlington Industries at the J.C. Cowan plant. She was a longtime member of Sandy Mush Baptist Church where she had served over 20 years as Church Secretary. She enjoyed sports; and was a standout on the church softball team. She also devoted many years to the Cub Scouts serving as a Den Leader. She also served as registrar for the Democratic party's Sandy Mush precinct for over 30 years.
