Patsy Mcentire Goode

Patsy McEntire Goode, age 83, of Mooresboro, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. Patsy was born Monday, August 9, 1937 in Cleveland County to the late Horace Worth McIntyre and Docia Idella Tesseneer McIntyre.  She was a graduate of Mooresboro High School, class of 1955. Patsy worked for Kemet Electronics for many years and earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification from Cleveland Community College.  She was a longtime and faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church where she taught S.S. Classes for the youth and served in the church choir. Patsy enjoyed antiques and various types of collecting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Goode; sister, Farolyn Yelton and brother, Jimmy McIntyre.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Joni Terry and husband JM Terry of Boiling Springs, NC; sister, Betty Earl (Dwight) of Fort Mill, SC; two brothers, David McIntyre (Margaret) of Lattimore and Ted McIntyre (Terry) of Savannah, Georgia. She is also survived by two grandsons, Brandon Terry (Whitney) and Brentt Terry (Joy Parker); three great-grandchildren, Ethan Luke Terry, Kellyn Faith Terry and Andrew Ryan Terry.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, May 21, 2021 at Trinity Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Frazier officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the church on the day of the service.
