Pauline Cantrell

Pauline Frances Cantrell, 80, of Autumn Care, died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Rutherford Hospital. The daughter of the late Almer and Eva Parris Hames, she was a native of Rutherford County and was born May 7, 1927. Pauline worked many years in the textile mills and was a member of Gateway to Life Baptist Tabernacle in Chesnee, SC.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, W.C. Cantrell; two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her two sons, Terry Cantrell and his wife Crystal and Ricky and his wife Carolyn both of Rutherfordton. She is also survived by a brother, Rev. Carlton Hames and his wife Bobbie of Mooresboro; two sisters, Ruby Henson and Gladys Morris also of Mooresboro; five grandchildren, Michelle Haynes, Mistie Smith, Shane Cantrell, Jessica Mitchell, Christopher Cantrell and seven great-grandchildren.
