Pearl Covington

Pearl Price Covington, age 94, of 463 Holly Hills, Forest City, NC passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008 at the Hospice House in Forest City. She was born December 22, 1913 in Polk County to the late Colonel Price and Carrie Thompson Price. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Covington, 7 brothers, and four sisters. She was a longtime member of Henrietta First Baptist Church and lived in Henrietta most of her life. Pearl loved yard work, gardening and flowers.

She is survived by her daughter, Pat McDonald and husband Jimmy of Forest City; a grandson, Jamie McDonald and wife Kimberly of Forest City; a great grandchild, Jace McDonald; and two sisters, Dorothy McCarter of Spartanburg, SC and Gertrude Moore of Henrietta, NC.
