Peggy Walker

Peggy Sisk Walker, age 68, of 167 M.D. Blanton Road, Forest City, NC, was called home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 1, 2008 at her home.
A life-long resident and native of Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late Archie and Virginia James Sisk. She had worked in the textile mills for over 35 years before retiring and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Frances Sisk and her father in-law, Johnny F. Walker.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jimmy Lee Walker; three daughters; Tammi Atchley and her husband Ernest of Charlotte, NC, Kim Holland of Forest City, Michelle Pettit and her husband James, Jr. of Harris, NC; two sons, Scott Walker of Forest City, and Jeffrey Walker and his wife Carol of Alexander Mills; 10 grandchildren, Sondra Wills and her husband Jeremy, Dustin Atchley, Joey Holland, Jeremy Walker, Shane Walker, Lisa Gibson and husband Marcus, Francis Walker, Brandon Walker, James Pettit III and Colby Pettit; two great-grandchildren, Abigail Wills and Tyler Wills. She is also survived by a niece, Tina Sizemore and a nephew Archie Keith Holland; a mother in-law, Annie Mae Walker; one sister in-law, Grace Marie Walker, two brother in-laws, Ray Walker and Freddie Walker all of Forest City.
