Philip Atchley

Philip Atchley, age 66, of Forest City, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022 at his residence.

Philip was born Saturday, September 3, 1955 in Rutherford County to the late Arnold Atchley and Ronelle Morgan Atchley. He was an avid NASCAR fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Atchley.

Survivors include his son, Chris Ballard (Jessica) of Rutherfordton; sister, Kim Atchley of Anderson, SC; brother, Gary Atchley (Brenda) of Forest City; sister-in-law, Barbara Atchley of Forest City; three nephews, Russ Atchley, Kevin Atchley (Ashley), Kyle Dorius (Magen); niece, Heather Atchley Anton (Tim) and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

No formal services will be conducted.
