Ray Wyatt

Ray "Squeaky" Wyatt, age 77, of Ellenboro, NC, went home to be with his Saviour, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family and friends.
Ray was born February 2, 1936 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Archie Elijah Wyatt and Lucy Leona Hammett Wyatt. He was a graduate of Tri-High School, class of 1954 and worked for Burlington Mills for thirty-eight years before his retirement. He was a member of Soul's Harbor Tabernacle in Mooresboro. Ray enjoyed fishing and making homemade rugs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Wyatt.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-seven years, Irene Randolph Wyatt; four daughters, Debbie Bragg and husband, Ron of Ellenboro, Donna Summerow and husband, Cliff of Lenoir, NC, Karen Greene and husband, Roger of Conover, NC and Tammy Wellman and husband, David of Forest City; son Billy Ray Wyatt and wife, Hazel of Simpsonville, SC. He is also survived by two brothers, Charles "Doc" Wyatt of Caroleen and Earl Wyatt and wife, Bobbie of Washington State; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the Souls Harbor Tabernacle with Reverend Chuck Poole officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
