Rebecca Lynn Fish Feimster, age 58, of Bostic, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
Rebecca was born April 23, 1961 in Rutherford County to Josephine Yelton Fish who resides in Rutherfordton and the late Sam Fish. She drove a school bus for thirty years for the Rutherford County Public Schools. She also worked for KD Support Services. Rebecca loved the Lord and was a member of Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church and enjoyed singing with the “Blood Bought Trio.”
In addition to her mother, those who are left to cherish her memory include her husband of forty-one years, J. O. Feimster; son, Timothy James Feimster (Christine) of Spindale; four grandchildren, Dyllon Gage Feimster, Maggie Feimster, Emma Feimster and Josie Feimster; two sisters, Shelby Gettys (Donald) of Bostic and Lisa Studioso (Richard) of Mt. Holly; two brothers, Johnny Fish of Rutherfordton, Wayne Fish (Rose) of Ellenboro and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Cooper Springs Congregational Church with Reverend Alan Terry and Evangelist Keith Vance officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
