Rev. Ralph W. Boyd, Jr.

Rev. Ralph W. Boyd, Jr., age 80, of Bostic, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, March 14, 2022 at Willow Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rutherfordton.

Ralph was born Wednesday, November 5, 1941 in Henderson County to the late Ralph Worth Boyd, Sr. and Lucille Baker Boyd. He worked as a carpenter in construction and in textiles for many years. Ralph was a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and pastored Faith Temple Tabernacle and New Grace Church in Morganton for several years. He enjoyed gardening and yard work. He had a heart for the Lord and for serving others.

Left to cherish fond memories are his wife of thirty years, Robin K. Boyd and a daughter, Janet Davis of Georgia.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Chad Sisk and Reverend Buddy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
