Rex Miller, age 30, of Spindale, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at his residence.
Born July 20, 1984 in Rutherford County, he was the son of Gregg Miller and Maxine Holland Miller of Forest City. A graduate of Chase High School, class of 2002, he worked for Trelleborg Industries for several years and most recently for Dish Network. Rex enjoyed video games, freehand drawing, golfing and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He was a member of Forest City Foursquare Church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bill Denny; maternal grandparents, David and Mattie Holland and several uncles.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Danielle Miller; three children, Siera, Aryelle and Jaxen Miller all of the home; grandmother, Shirley Denny of Forest City; two sisters, Ashley Stamper and husband, Chris and Amy Palmeri and husband, Clifford all of Forest City; brother, Roger Holland and wife, Taylor also of Forest City. He is also survived by a number of uncles and aunts and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Joseph Dutton and Reverend Ricky Poteat officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. The body will lie in state from eight o'clock Saturday morning until service time at the funeral home.
