Richard Abramczyk

Richard D. Abramczyk, age 74, of 144 Woodside Drive, Forest City, died Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Autumn Care.
He was born August 27, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Stanley Abramczyk and Evelyn Helminiak Abramczyk. He was an electrician by trade for 20 years and was a foreman electrician for Packaging Corporation of America in Manistee, Michigan for ten years before his retirement. He and his wife, Sherry, owned and operated Falls Motel and The Used to Bee retail store in Chimney Rock. Among his life's enjoyments were fishing, painting, music, NASCAR and football.
Survivors include his wife of 49' years, Sharon 'Sherry' Abramczyk; four daughters, Carol Benforado of Virginia Beach, VA, Valerie Kroeck of Goodyear, AZ, Patti Neracher and her husband Doug of Kalamazoo, MI and Lona Goodrich and her husband Rick of Alden, MI; one son, Richard 'Butch' Abramczyk and his wife Josie of Forest City; a sister, Mary Ann Abramczyk of Arizona; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
