Richard Conway

Richard V. Conway, age 52, of 358 Dysart Road, Mooresboro, NC, died Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.
A native of Queens, New York he was a son of Joseph Conway, Sr. and the late Ellen Hasbrook Conway. He was employed at the Wal-Mart distribution center in Shelby and had previously worked for Car Care in Gastonia as a mechanic. He was a remote racing car enthusiast and enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and exotic birds.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Conway, Jr.
Besides his father, survivors include, his wife of 30 years, Denise Hysler-Conway; two sons, Anthony Corujo and his wife Alicia of Shelby and Joseph Conway III and his wife, Keisha Greene of Henrietta; one daughter, Elisa Corujo of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, Brandon Covington, Devin Corujo, Chandler Corujo, Brianna Corujo and Lauran Conway; one brother, Danny Conway and one sister, Barbara Ganley.
