Ricky Wellman

Ricky Eugene Wellman, age 52, of Spindale, NC, died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Hospice House in Forest City.
Ricky was born August 14, 1958 in Gaston County, NC to the late Ray Wellman and Francis Whitman Wellman. He worked in maintenance at the Forest City Golf Course and was a Baptist. He enjoyed playing the guitar, bowling, pencil drawing and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Diana Walters Wellman; two brothers, Perry Ray Wellman and wife, Leta of Bostic, NC and Jimmy Wayne Wellman and wife, Debbie of Gastonia, NC; three sisters, Shirley Messer and husband, Royce of Ranlo, NC, Freida Kiser of Gastonia and Barbara Willis and husband, Butch of Mt. Holly.
