Ricky "30W" Lancaster

Ricky “30W” Lancaster, age 68, of Forest City, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at Accordius Health in Rutherfordton.

Ricky was born Friday, October 29, 1954 in Rutherford County to the late Frank William Lancaster and Hazel Louise Sisk Lancaster.  He was a graduate of R.S. Central High School, class of 1973.  He worked at Mastercraft and National Textiles and was the owner and operator of Lancaster Landscaping for many years.  Ricky attended the Church of the Brethren.  He loved fishing, playing billiards, pro stock drag racing, and riding Harley motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Caleb Lancaster.

Survivors include a son, Spencer Adam Lancaster of Morganton; brother, Mike Hugh Lancaster (Deborah); two great-grandsons, Cooper “Coop” Haze Lancaster and Camdyn Reed Lancaster; a special “son” Kirk Biddix and a number of nieces and nephews.

No formal services will be conducted at this time.
