Robert Clontz

Robert Dale Clontz, age 62, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Hospice of Rutherford County.
Born July 8, 1951 in Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Ben David Clontz and Bessie Hensley Clontz. He was heavy equipment operator in highway construction and of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Anarah Stedman, Mary Jo Clontz and 4 brothers, William Hugh Clontz, Gene David Clontz, Bennie Lewis Clontz and Roger Ray Clontz.
Survivors include his sisters, Aileen Tessnear and husband Richard of Forest City, Ruby Rumfelt and husband Johnny "Tunk", and Becky Clontz of Forest City.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 26, 2014 at Sandy Level Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Ralph Boyd offciating.
