Robert Price

Mr. Robert L. Price, age 69, of 192 Spencer Street, Caroleen, NC passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at the Hospice House in Forest City, NC. He was born September 25, 1937 in McDowell County to the late Ossie William Price and Cora Olivia Moses Price. He grew up in Marion, NC and married Dora Burton on November 7, 1958. Mr. Price moved to Rutherford County in 1970 and worked in construction most of his life. He worked many years for Appling Boring Company. He attended Caroleen Baptist Church and was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church in Marion, NC.

Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Dora Burton Price of the home, one son, Harold Price and his wife Diane of Golden Valley, NC; three daughters and their husbands, Genine Conner & Doyle of Mooresboro, NC, Tammy Smith and David of Sandy Mush, NC, and Cynthia Thomas and Ricky of Caroleen, NC. Also surviving are two brothers, Paul Price and Gary Price both of Marion, NC, two sisters, Lillie Robinson of Marion, NC and Effie Blackburn of Florence, SC, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
