Roberta Brackett Bridges

    Roberta Brackett Bridges, age 72, of Mooresboro, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at her residence.

     Roberta was born Sunday, February 25, 1951 in Rutherford County to the late Robie A. Brackett and Beatrice Margaret Beck. She worked as a sheet rock finisher. Roberta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle with family and friends. Roberta was a partner of the church, The Barn. She was a sweet and caring person and she will be greatly missed by family and friends.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Ferguson and her brother H.P. Brackett.

     Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of fifty-four years, Ronnie Bridges, two daughters, Sandy Cline, Tracy Oliver (Brad); brother, Johnny Brackett (Jill); grandchildren, Dillon Oliver, Kayla Campbell (Kevin), Wade Dotson (Sally), Rebecca Dotson (Raymond); great grandchildren, Haden Oliver, Skylar Oliver, Alianna Oliver, Dax Campbell, Daisy Mae Johnson, Sidney Campbell, Hannah Copeland, Aiden Parris, Maddox Wyatt; and a special friend who was like a sister, and partner in crime, Jeannie Walker; and a host of nieces nephews and cousins.

     The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Sam Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
