Robert "Robb" Manness

Robert “Robb” Manness, age 63, of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Robert was born May 2, 1957 in Trenton, New Jersey to the late Samuel Manness and Mary Seville Manness. He owned and operated Briggs Plumbing in Tryon for twenty-five years. He attended Father’s Vineyard and enjoyed restoring antiques. Robert also loved to do watercolor and oil painting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Manness.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Briggs Manness (Greg Hudgens) of Rutherfordton; ex-wife, Lori Tipton of Tryon; granddaughter, Ariana Crews; brother, Dr. Wayne Manness (Melissa) of Bloomington, Illinois and a sister, Doreen Manness of Atlantic City, New Jersey.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
