Robin Hodge

Robin Hodge, age 63, of Ellenboro, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 at her residence.

Robin was born Tuesday, August 30, 1960 in Rutherford County to the late Robert Harrison Harton, Jr. and Oree Hooper Ruppe. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1978. Robin worked for Tanner Company as a retail consultant for many years and as the main cook for Roger’s Diner at the Equestrian Center. She had the heart of a caretaker and was the “driving force” and the “glue” of the family. Robin was always thinking of others and had a passion to help anyone in need. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, outdoor activities and especially loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Van Hodge and a brother, Jason Ruppe.

Those left to treasure her memory include her significant other, Richard Glover; her beloved daughters, Amber Hodge of Forest City and Jessie Davis (Dustin) of Ellenboro; brother, Chris Harton (Vikki) of Traveler’s Rest, SC; sister-in-law, Cathy Kiser (Cookie) of Ellenboro and her grand dogs, Gia and Ghost.

A family celebration of Robin’s life will be conducted on a date to be determined.
