Roger Womack

Roger Womack, age 60, of 1132 Dogwood Lane, Forest City, NC passed away Friday, January 11, 2008 at the Rutherford Hospital. He was born October 22, 1947 in Rutherford County to Virgil Lee Womack and the late Hazel Louise Philbeck Womack. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Belle Philbeck. Roger was a US Army veteran having served two tours in Vietnam. He also was a metal worker.

In addition to his father, Virgil Lee Womack and his wife Virginia of Forest City, NC he is survived by his companion, Dorothy Beck of Henrietta; two daughters, Beth Womack Brown and her husband Wayne of Gaffney, SC and Rashell Womack of Chesaning, MI; four grandchildren, Heather Collins, Hannah Collins, Jace Brown, and Zoie Brown; one brother, Larry Womack and his wife Peggy of Forest City; and one sister, Alicia Crawford of Rutherfordton, NC.
