Ronald Lovelace, age 74, of Ellenboro, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Cherokee County, SC.
Ronald was born Wednesday, February 19, 1947 in Rutherford County to Aileen Dobbins Cooper who resides in Forest City and the late Flay Lovelace. He was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, class of 1965. Ronald served honorably in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for Reeves Brothers Mill for many years and most recently attended the Cornerstone Church in Forest City. Ronald enjoyed going to family member’s baseball games and was an avid Braves fan.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Henline Lovelace and son, David Henline.
Besides his mother, those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Kay Henline of Grover, NC; son, Mike Henline (Kim) of Bostic; three grandchildren, Melissa Henline Jones (Beau) of Chelsea, Alabama, Leah Henline of Ellenboro, Brandon Henline (Amanda) of Shiloh and aunt, Sue Cooper. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A private service will be conducted in the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Clay Earle officiating. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Bostic.
