Ronald Padgett

Ronald Ray Padgett, age 62, of Monroe, NC, died Saturday, May 19, 2012 at his residence.
Ronald was born August 20, 1949 in Rutherford County, NC to the late James Ray Padgett and Glen Tate Padgett. He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1968 and enjoyed a 36 year career with Duke Energy and retired as a Bulk Power Marketer/Trader. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a member of Caroleen Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially woodworking.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by one son, David Brian Padgett and father in-law, Otho Norville.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Freda Padgett; one son, Ronald Kevin Padgett; one daughter, Amy Melissa Padgett both of Monroe and mother in-law, Evelyn Norville of Charlotte.
