Ronnie Pittman

Ronnie Harlan Pittman, age 62, of 793 Cleghorn Mill Road, Rutherfordton, NC, went home to be his Lord on Friday, July 24, 2009 at Rutherford Hospital.
A native of McDowell County, he was the son of the late Clarence Harlan Pittman and Mafra Gouge Pittman. He worked as an auto mechanic most of his life and loved his family dearly.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Julie Moore Pittman; two daughters, Kathy Mace of Marion and Kitty Jones and her husband Lance of Atlanta, GA; one son, Bobby Pittman of Charleston, SC; three sisters, June Fox, Joanne Good and husband, Richard, and Tami Buchanan and husband, Phil, all of Marion; three grandchildren, Sarah Mace and Emily Mace both of Marion, and Adam Smith of Alaska. He is also survived by one step-daughter, Angie Cash and husband, Doug, of Mooresville, NC; one step-son, T.J. Gillespie of Rutherfordton; two step-grandsons, Justin Rickner and Brandon Rickner; his half-brother, Donald McKinney and wife, Pat, of Marion; his fishing buddy and father in-law, Neil Moore of Mooresville and by a number of nieces and nephews.
