Roy Greene

Roy Greene, age 51, of Cleghorn Street, Rutherfordton, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Born July 31, 1963 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Memory Greene and Vader Nanney Greene. He worked for Broyhill Furniture for many years and was a longtime member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church. He enjoyed working on the computer and singing. Roy loved his church family.
Survivors include his wife, Molly Greene; sister, Carletta Greene of Spindale; three brothers, Michael Greene and Marshall Greene both of Spindale and Lester Green and wife Sandra of Bostic.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Leon Brown, Reverend Roger Hudgins and Reverend Chad Sisk officiating. Interment will be private for the family at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Spindale Fellowship Holiness.
