Russell Roach

Russell H. Roach, age 54, of Crowe Dairy Road, Spindale, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Born on Friday, January 19, 1962 in Rutherford County, he was the son of Calvin Roach who resides in Spindale and the late Ruby Toney Roach. Russell was a graduate of R-S Central High School, class of 1980 and the Presbyterian School of Nursing in Charlotte. He worked as a registered nursed for many years and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a caring person who loved spending time with his family. Russell enjoyed playing tennis and having a good time with his friends and family. He loved seeing people laugh.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A gathering of remembrance will be held from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Harrelson Funeral Home with Mr. Tripp Biggerstaff officiating. A committal service will follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
