Ruth Rossman

Ruth Eleanore Rossman, age 73, of Spindale, NC, died Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Hospice House.
Ruth was born October 17, 1936 in Los Angeles, California to the late Frank Porter Stirk and Marie Baker Stirk. She worked as a nurse's aide for many years and enjoyed crocheting and listening to music. She was a Baptist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Rossman; four brothers and one sister.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Lee Rossman of Rutherfordton and Michael Clayton Rossman and wife, Kimberly, of Spindale; four daughters, Robbin Louise Baldwin of Joplin, Missouri, Eleana Valie Brooks and husband, Gary, of Shiloh, Beverly Jean Rossman of Mayo, SC and Evelyn Marie Roberson of Rutherfordton; one brother, Gordon Stirk of Galt, California; two sisters, Arlene Bowen of Forest City and June Katherine Ramsey and husband, Walter, of Cannelton, Indiana. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, David Baldwin, Jessica Baldwin, Jennifer Baldwin, Angie Rossman, Lori Hoppes, Danielle Rossman, Ashley Rossman, Samantha Roberson, Tylor Roberson; three great-grandchildren, Kimberly D. Rossman, Hunter Hoppes and Kayden Hoppes.
