Sandra Greene

Sandra Gettys Greene, age 63, of Bostic, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Accordius Health at Rutherford.

Sandra was born Monday, July 14, 1958 in Cleveland County to the late Mildred Maxine Terry Gettys and James Roy Gettys, Sr. who resides in Bostic. She was a homemaker most of her life.  Sandra was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed being a mom and MawMaw.  Sandra was a member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church. She loved God, reading her Bible, and gardening.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Greene.

Besides her father, those left to cherish her memory include her children, Michael Barrier (Amanda), LeAnn Sisk (Rodney), Jessica Keeter, Amy Newton (Casey) all of Bostic; brothers and sisters, Barbara Baucom, Kay Gettys, Joyce Moss (Ronnie), James “Roy” Getty Jr., Donald Gettys (Shelby), Christie Marlowe, Angie Plummer (Bryan); grandchildren, Madison Barrier, Callie Barrier, Carsen Sisk, Austin Keeter, Lilly Tipton, Xander Tilley, Bella Pruett, Caleb Newton, Mark Heller, Jr., Jacob Norris; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Chad Sisk and Reverend Buddy Campbell officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
