Sarah Womack Alexander

Sarah Womack Alexander, age 71, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Sarah was born Saturday, March 29, 1952 in Rutherford County to the late Herbert Womack and Irene Ramsey Womack. She was a graduate of Chesnee High School, class of 1971 and was of the Baptist Faith. Sarah enjoyed reading, collecting music and taking care of her special cat, “Chester.” Her passion in life was being a homemaker and taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Womack.

Those left to treasure her memory include her loving husband of forty-eight years, Kenneth Alexander; son, Kenny Alexander (Kelly) of Forest City; granddaughters, Katelyn and Kimberly Alexander and a sister, Betty Bailey of Forest City.

A private family service will be held to honor Sarah’s life.
