Scott Greene

Scott William Greene, age 55, of Forest City, passed away in Bladen County, on Saturday, February 1, 2020.

Scott was born March 12, 1964 in Rutherford County to the late Jesse Woodrow Greene and Jane Baynard Greene.  He worked in construction most of his life and enjoyed watching NASCAR and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Vance Greene and a brother, Jeffery Greene.

Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, Chris Greene (Stacy) and Mark Greene; a daughter, Amanda Wilson all of Forest City; a sister, Angela Greene of Forest City; seven grandchildren, Brittany Fish, Anna Wilson, Madysen Wilson, Miya Webb, Nevaeh Webb, Chris Greene, Tyler Schultz and a great-grandchild, Aydan Bradley.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Chad Roach officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Memorial donations are requested to Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221A, Forest City, NC to help defray funeral costs.
