Seable Grant

Seable Grant of Forest City, NC, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Irene Grant, and brother Gary Bud Grant.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Ruth; Daughter, Shannon Grant Lail (Eddie) of Cliffside, Son, Sean Grant (Wayne DeFlaminis) of Washington DC, and sister, Becky White (Paul). He loved spending time with his grand and great-grandchildren, who loved and adored him, Victoria (Brandon) Maldonado and their son "Baby" Seable, Sarah Hamrick, Abigail Hamrick and her son, Kamden. Born and raised in Henrietta, NC, He was a life-loving metal fabricator who built wood stoves, metal buildings, enjoyed making knives, telling stories, carving things, and just piddling in his shop. He loved spending time with his family and friends at Hardee's, the Forest City Fire and Police Department, and never met a stranger.

A celebration of life service will be announced for the future.
