Shane Lee Dysart

Shane Dysart, age 52, of Forest City, was born on October 19, 1971 in Rutherford County and passed away on Friday August 30, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.

He was a graduate of R-Central High School and was a motorcycle enthusiast. Shane was a hero to many and loved by all. He was a free-spirited man with a heart of love for everyone he encountered. To know Shane Dysart is to love Shane Dysart. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles “Bo” Dysart, Jr., and Faye McKeown.

Shane is survived by his stepfather; Danny McKeown; siblings, Shannon Dysart and Ricky Dysart; nieces and nephews Amber, Arionna, Skyler and Dylan.

Shane is flying high with Jesus, and he wants smiles on everybody’s face, because he is in no more pain.

The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 5th at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Sam Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time the funeral home.
