Sharon Robbins

Sharon West Robbins, age 56, of 2101 Hogan Road, Harris, NC, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Rutherford Hospital.
A native of Rutherford County she was the daughter of Reverend Bobby Lee West and Jennie Ruth Rainwater West. She had worked at White Oak Manor as a CNA for 10 years and was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church of Polk County. She enjoyed knitting, making necklaces and babysitting her great-niece.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, John Robbins and one sister, Joan Lavonne Watson.
Besides her father, survivors include her brother, Roger Lee West; one sister, Olivia Kay Branch and her husband, Robert, of Green Creek; three nieces, Angie Owensby and her husband, Matthew of Mill Spring; Tabitha Owensby of Statesville and Theresa Inghauser and her husband, Eric, of Charleston, SC; three nephews, Samuel Watson and his wife, Angie, of Rutherfordton, John Watson of Rutherfordton and Frank Branch II of Green Creek.
