Sherman Roland

Sherman Dwayne Roland, 44, of Forest City died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at his residence. A native of Rutherford County he was born November 17, 1964 to Beatrice Hudson Bumgarner of Golden Valley. Dwayne was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. He attended Forest City Four Square Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother Billy Roland.
Survivors include, His son Michael Roland of Pendergrass, GA; three daughters, Ashley Roland, Melinda Jones and Summer Roland all of Forest City; one brother Danny Roland of Bostic; two sisters Peggy Hardin of Bostic and Cynthia Munn of Cowpens, SC; his wife Kay Roland and five grandchildren.
