Shirley Taylor, age 67, of Forest City, died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at her residence.
Born October 14, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Randolph and Lena Sidenstricker Randolph. She worked for Eaton-Aeroquip Corporation for many years and was a member of Forest Lake Baptist Church. She enjoyed collecting items and was an animal lover.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of almost twenty-years, Willie Lee Taylor; one brother and four sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Ken Taylor and wife, Mary Champion-Taylor of Mooresboro and Brian Taylor and wife, Stephanie of Charlotte; two sisters, Pat Fowler and Sandra Allen both of St. Louis; one brother, Gary Randolph also of St. Louis. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Billie Lovelace, Brandon Taylor, Grayson Taylor, Brianna Taylor and Alex Taylor; one great-grandchild, Zayne Lovelace and her beloved dog, Precious.
A memorial service will be conducted at seven o'clock on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Wayne Toney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
