Shirley Ann Greene

Shirley Ann Greene, age 56, of Ellenboro, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at her residence.

Shirley was born December 9, 1964 in Rutherford County to Beatrice Bradley Sexton who resides in Harris and the late Charles Alexander Sexton. She enjoyed taking care of her grandkids, listening to country music and getting a tan. Her children will remember her as the “Best Mother in the World.” She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. We know that she will be watching over her family and her children and they will miss her with every breath that they take. “Rest in Peace Mama, We Love You.”

Besides her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her husband of thirty years, Randy Greene, Sr.; children, David Wilson (Angie Pritchard) of Ellenboro, Randy Greene, Jr. (Laiisha) of Old Fort, Lee Greene (Leslie) of Gaffney, Eric Greene of Ellenboro, Nikki Greene (Daniel Hush) of Rutherfordton, Misty Greene (Kaileb Horn) of Gaffney and Randy Lee Greene of Ellenboro; sisters, Debra Solon of Rutherfordton, Betty Splawn (Jose Vasquez) of Forest City; and nineteen grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Bills Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Darold Crawford officiating.
