Spencer Lancaster

Spencer Adam Lancaster, age 49, of Morganton, NC, went home to be with Lord on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Mission Hospital-McDowell in Marion.

Spencer was born Wednesday, July 25, 1973 in Rutherford County to the late Ricky Lancaster and Sheila McSwain. He was a graduate of R-S Central High School, class of 1991 and worked in textiles for many years. He was of the Pentecostal Faith and was presently attending the Dallas Church of God. He was an avid gardener and grower of African-Violets. Spencer was a member of the African Violet Society of America. He was also an animal lover of all kinds and varieties.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Caleb Lancaster.

Those left to cherish fond memories include his sisters, Jami Aman (Josh) of Greer, SC and Shaylon Tucker of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Cooper “Coop” Lancaster and Camdyn Reed Lancaster; a special brother, Kirk Biddix of Morganton and four nieces.

In honor of his request, there will be no formal services conducted.
