Stephanie Lynn Hollars, age 52, of Cliffside, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Atrium Health-Cleveland.
Lynn was born Friday, August 13, 1971 in Cleveland County to Teressa Ledbetter Glover (Tommy) and Steve Wayne Hannon. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1989 and received an Associates Degree in Nursing from Gardner-Webb University. Lynn worked in the Women’s and Children’s Center at Atrium Health-Cleveland for twenty-six years. She was known for her heart of compassion for each of her patients and made an indelible mark on each life she served. Lynn enjoyed shopping, looking at Pinterest and cooking special dishes. She had a knack for making everything look beautifully decorated. Lynn’s passion was serving her Lord and loving her family, she was always there to help others. She was a faithful member of Pleasant View Community Church, where she served on the decorating committee and had a part in delivering many of the children of the church. She truly will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William “Pete” Ledbetter, Coleen White Ledbetter, Robert Hannon and Eva Walker Hannon; mother-in-law, Rene Smathers Hollars; father-in-law, Jack Franklin Hollars and a special uncle, Allen Clayton Humphries.
In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her husband of thirty-one years, Steven Franklin Hollars; sons, Steven Austin Hollars and Avery Ryan Hollars (Katalyn) and her daughter, Maelyn Elizabeth Hollars (Justin); grandkids, Finn Seagle, Rhett Hollars and Tucker Waters; siblings, Amy Hannon, half-sister, Myra Petsemoie and half-brother, Scott Glover; special aunt, Sylvia Humphries and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 2nd at Pleasant View Community Church with Reverend Phillip Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
