Steve Johnson

Steven R. Johnson, age 62, of 221 Pine Knoll, Rutherfordton, NC, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Rutherford Hospital.
Born in Union County, Iowa, he was a son of Hale Frederick Johnson and Geraldine Hamilton Johnson Crawley. He worked in manufacturing and in the restaurant business. He was known for his excellent Pizza making skills.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Deborah McMillan and by one brother, Brian Johnson.
Besides his mother, survivors include his daughter, Heather Walker and her husband, Dustin of Forest City; two sisters, Jeralyn Johnson of Antioch, TN and Barbara Johnson of Pine Beach, NJ; two brothers Alan Johnson of Nashville, TN and Floyd Johnson of South Carolina.
