Sylvia Moore

Mrs. Sylvia Ann Arrowood Moore, age 66, of S. Pea Ridge Road, Henrietta, NC passed away Thursday, November 2, 2006 at the Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby, NC.

Sylvia was born in Rutherford County on July 17, 1940 to the late James and Eunice Moore Arrowood. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Arrowood, Bobby Arrowood, and Bill Arrowood. Sylvia was a homemaker and lived for her family which she loved deeply. She was also a member of High Shoal Baptist Church.

Sylvia is survived by her husband of 48 years, J. C. Moore, Jr. of the home; a son, Carl Moore of Dobbinsville; a daughter and her husband Pam & Tim Gay of Henrietta, six grandchildren, Brad Moore, Scott Gay, Brandon Gay, James Gay, Marcus Gay and Kindra Gay; one great grandchild, Donavan Rhett Moore; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Kiser and Martha Lattimore.
