Tammy Jo Terry

     Tammy Jo Terry, age 79, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the Fair Haven Home of Forest City.

     Tammy Jo was born Friday, April 7, 1944 in Rutherford County to the late Bryson Hodge and Gladys Earley Hodge.  Tammy Jo was a member of Piedmont Baptist Church.  She enjoyed craftwork, flea markets, craft shows, dancing, fishing and going to the mountains.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Roy Terry, Jr.; three brothers, Howard Hodge, Pokey Hodge, and Doyle Hodge; three sisters, Emogene Lancaster, Phylis Hodge, Alice Faye Smith.

     Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Angela Terry Lee and Carlos Terry Pruett both of Forest City; a sister, Kay Beam of Shelby; eight grandchildren, James Whiteside (Emily), Hunter Lee, Bodie Lee, Manley Blackburn, Dylan Blackburn, Timothy Hollars, Kenyun Terry, B.J. Terry; and three great grandchildren, Jaxton Whiteside, Sawyer Whiteside and Finan Whiteside; also, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

     There are no formal services planned at this time.
