Timothy "Tim" Ellenburg

Timothy “Tim” Ellenburg, age 62, of Spindale, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at his residence.

Tim was born Sunday, August 16, 1959 in Rutherford County to Lena Ellenburg who resides in Rutherfordton and the late James Ellenburg.  He was a graduate of R-S Central High School, class of 1977. Tim worked for various textile companies. The latest being Mohawk Mill in Landrum. He also worked in the maintenance department for the Rutherford County Housing Authority for several years. Tim was a car enthusiast who enjoyed rebuilding cars, drag racing and buying and selling old cars. He enjoyed deer and bear hunting. Tim will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Besides his mother, left to cherish fond memories are his life partner, Crystal Beheler; two daughters, Cassidy Ellenburg (Jerry Hernandez) of Forest City and Danielle Guthrie of Shelby; two grandsons, Samuel Ellenburg and Joshua; siblings, Victor Ellenburg (Sandy) of Forest City, Shannon Young (Richard) of Rutherfordton, Debbie Ellenburg of Asheville and Barry Ellenburg (Kristie) of Union Mills.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Chad Sisk officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
