Tonya Dycus

Tonya Lynn Dycus, age 38, of Shelby, died Monday, August 10, 2009 at her residence.
Tonya was born May 16, 1971 in Henderson County to Joe Dycus and Carolyn Morgan Dycus. She worked in Child Care for several years and enjoyed making people laugh and working with children. She was a member of Caroleen Baptist Church and a 1989 graduate of Crest High School.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Betty Dycus and Alonzo and Callie Morgan.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her life's devotion, her son, Tyler Cody Dycus; two sisters, Penny Boyd of Casar and Melissa Stroup and her husband Jason of Shelby; one niece, Heather Boyd and nephew, Randy Boyd and by her loving friend and caregiver, Andrea Doster of Forest City.
