Vera Ledbetter

Vera Mae Hines Ledbetter, age 91, of Forest City, NC, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home.
Vera was born on October 14, 1920 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Isom Piercy Hines and Ebber Kimball. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was a member of Hicks Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, James Ray Ledbetter; one son, Dorris Ray Ledbetter; three brothers, Allison Hines, Gifton Hines, Vernon Hines; two sisters, Modie Green and Edian McDaniel.
Survivors include one daughter, Ada Jane Davis of Forest City; five grandchildren, Derrick Davis and wife, Sheila of Chesnee, Angela Davis of Forest City, Barbara Hill and husband, Alan of Shelby, Cathie Landis of Jonesville, SC and Gena Barnhardt of Hickory and seven great grandchildren.
