Wade Ledford

Wade Ledford, age 64, of Spindale, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

Wade was born Thursday, May 8, 1958 in Rutherford County to the late Glen Ledford and Opal Green Ledford. He worked in maintenance for many years and was a member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness. Wade was loving and good to all who knew him. He loved his family dearly. Wade enjoyed woodworking and collecting bear statues.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Donald and Walt Ledford.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of thirty-six years, Helen Ledford; son, Samuel Lee Ledford of Spindale and daughter, Marie Foster (Barry) of Mayo, SC; brothers, Cecil Ledford of Spindale and James Ledford of Rutherfordton and a granddaughter, Alyssa Marie Foster.

     A celebration of life will be conducted from 2:00 until 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 7^th at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Danny Ledford officiating.
