Wilda Shults

Wilda Jo Harris Shults, age 71, of Rutherfordton, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at her residence.
Wilda was born July 2, 1947 in Rutherford County to the late Mildred Harris. She was a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening. She was a member of Pores Ford Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Samuel T. Bayne; seven brothers, James Henderson, Richard Henderson, Coy Harris, Derwood Henderson, Billy Wayne Harris, Jerry Henderson, Russell Henderson and a sister, Judy Henderson Oliver.
Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Warren Shults, Jr.; daughter, Teresa Shults Lewis of Rutherfordton; son, David Dewayne Shults also of Rutherfordton and one brother, Clayton Henderson of Rock Hill, SC. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Kevin Kuo-Choi Laing, Anthony James Drost, Autumn Drost, Amberly Rose Irene Drost and two great-grandchildren, Samantha Rose Irene Drost and Kai Laing.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Morning Star Baptist Church with Reverend Gene Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
