William 'Bill' Denny, age 80, of Old Henrietta Road, Forest City, NC, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at his residence.
Bill was born May 15, 1931 in Hazard County, Kentucky to the late Forrest Denny and Francis King Denny. He was a veteran of the US Army and worked in Industrial Heating and Cooling most of his life. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, westerns, war movies and collecting Ford replica cars. He loved animals.
In addition to his parents his was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers, a great-grandson, Dylan Michael and step son, Craig Miller.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Shirley Miller Denny; three daughters, Linda Denny Ridge, Anna Denny Hinton and husband, Ron and Mary Craig Everman all of Anderson, Indiana; two sons, James Edward Denny and companion, Jeannie of Lakeland, FL and William Allen Denny and wife, Tracy also of Anderson; one step-son, Gregg Miller and wife, Maxine of Forest City; one brother, Jim Denny of Florida and one sister, Mary Blankenship of Ohio.
He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and their spouses, Christina Banter (Josh), Jacqueline, Ron Hinton, Jr., Shaun Hinton (Tina), Alisha Garber (Josh), Alison Stevenson (Zach), Adam Denny, Lora Land, Brandi Land, Clifford Palmeri (Amy), Rex Miller (Danielle) and Ashley Stamper (Chris); twelve great grandchildren, Breana, Courtney and Haley Hinton, Lauren and Olivia Banter, Emily Hope, Noah Palmeri, Siera, Aryelle and Jaxen Miller, Mariah and Kaelyn Stamper.
