William Moeser

William G. Moeser of Rutherfordton, NC died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Hospice House.
William was born in Lake County, Indiana to the late Carl H. Moeser and Mary Sisco Moeser. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served during World War II and the Korean War. William worked as a journalist for the Miami News and for Life Magazine, later he became a Lutheran Minister and pastored the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Venice, FL. Upon his retirement from the ministry, he transitioned into the field of psychology. He was also a founding partner of the Venice Memorial Gardens and a member of the Sertoma Club of Venice.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Angela Hoover.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Moeser; three daughters, Susan Govatos and husband, Jim of Winter Park, FL, Marilyn Slevin and husband, Dr. Donald Slevin of Sarasota, FL and Carolyn Yoder and husband, Randy of Venice; the mother of his children, Marjorie Moeser Beni and four grandchildren.
